Many people wear glasses, contacts, have had LASIK and so on. Some people were luck enough to be born with 20/20 vision. But that doesn’t mean either group is immune to eye problems. Eye care and eye issue prevention is equally as important for everyone. Here are some tips to help keep your vision at its best, no matter what.

  1. REGULAR EXAMS. It is so important to visit your regular doctor, and your eye care doctor, for a physical each year. Keeping track of your overall health can help alert you to, and possibly prevent, any developing concerns.
  2. LOOK FOR WARNING SIGNS. If you experience any kind of eye pain, irritation, blurriness, strain, or sensitivity make sure to schedule a visit with your eye doctor right away. Keep track of the issue, including the frequency. The earlier you bring attention to these issues, the more likely you will be able to treat them effectively.
  3. A HEALTHY BALANCE DIET. Nutrition is extremely important when it comes to your eyesight. Try to include foods like salmon, carrots, and kale in your diet.
