It All Started With a Blurry Blackboard…
I first started experiencing vision problems when I was 10 years old. I was getting too close to the TV all the time. One day I couldn't see the blackboard in class and I had to move all the way to the front of the room. That's how it all started and it only seemed to get worse from there. I knew I needed glasses and that was that.

I did the contacts thing for a couple of years, and then they started bothering my eyes a lot.  That’s when I decided to try laser surgery. I'm not a glasses kind of guy; glasses don't look good on me. I felt uncomfortable, but with my contacts I felt kind of cool. I felt like Superman. But once the contacts started bothering me, I just couldn't take it anymore. I've known about laser surgery for a while, about 5 years, and I was just giving it time. Honestly, I didn't know if I should do it, cause I didn't know if the technology was up to date or if there were any serious side effects.

I have to admit that I was a bit scared at the beginning of the surgery. I was afraid of losing my sight. But he is so professional. I just trusted him. I trusted his hands. When I woke up the next day, I saw the difference. The first thing I do in the morning is reach to my table to get my glasses and I thought, "I don't have do to that anymore." So yeah - it was painful in the beginning, but it was worth it!

Seeing More Than I Ever Did Before…
Dr. Kelly went above and beyond my expectations because I didn't think that I was going to be able to see as well as I'm seeing now. Now when I’m walking outside I can see things that I couldn't see with my contacts. It’s basically like I was shut off from the world for a while and then brought back into it.

Feelin' Good…
I was so self-conscious with my glasses and now that I don't have to wear them anymore I feel good about myself. It boosts up your ego. You feel comfortable like this, and I just love it. I’ve been recommending Dr. Kelly ever since. If I went through it, anyone can go through it. I mean, he’s a wonderful doctor to be honest. He calms you down prior to the operation and after.
