I started wearing glasses when I was 9 years old. I started wearing contacts when I was 17, and wore them regularly. Sometime in my early or mid 20s, the contacts started bothering my eyes and I decided to go back to wearing glasses.

Glasses Were No Fun...
Life was not enjoyable when I wore glasses or contacts. Going to the beach or going on vacation wearing glasses was not very much fun. I thought about laser surgery many times, maybe 5 or 6 years ago, but I just wasn't ready to do it.

Not Quite Convinced, Yet...
When I first learned about laser surgery, I thought it was dangerous. If something is only around for a few years, you can't really tell what the long or short-term problems are. When I finally decided to do it, it had been around long enough.  I shopped around a lot, looking for the right doctor. At the beginning, I looked online and came across maybe 8 or 10 doctors.

An Easy Decision...
When I called Dr Kelly's office and spoke to his staff, they all spoke so highly about him and that made my decision so easy. The consultation was very helpful. I never expected to be talked through the procedure so thoroughly. He explained to me exactly what I was supposed to feel, what I was going to see, etc. I booked my surgery for two days later. He made me feel very comfortable.

Tears of Joy!...
I had worn glasses for 33 years, and to have my eyes fixed in less than 10 minutes has been the greatest experience ever. It was amazing. I went home, took a nap, and two hours later I opened my eyes and saw the clock across the room, 15 feet away... It felt great. I almost cried. Its been two years already and I am glad I did it.

I would recommend Dr. Kelly to anyone - and actually I have. It's an invaluable experience. I feel free.
